What is it?
Sodium Chlorite (an oxidiser) added to distilled water produces Master (or Miracle) Mineral Solution or MMS, a ‘stabilised oxygen’ product in an alkaline solution. MMS alone can be used to purify water; used with an ‘activator’ will speed up the water purification process.
How does it work?
Our sodium chlorite, when added to water (thus creating MMS), can subsequently be activated (with our citric acid activator) to produce Chlorine Dioxide or ClO2.
Chlorine dioxide is composed of one ion of chlorine and two ions of oxygen. When a chlorine dioxide ion meets anything acidic, such as a pathogen, it pulls five electrons of charge from it, and results in the instantaneous oxidation of the pathogen. It is the only chemical that possesses this quality without creating side effects. Chlorine dioxide attacks microorganisms literally ripping them apart. Because of this, bacteria, viruses and other pathogens cannot build up a defence by mutating. What does this mean? This means that it is not necessary to rotate ClO2 with other type of water purifier, sanitiser or disinfectant; no matter how long you use it, chlorine dioxide will not lose its effectiveness against anything harmful to humans or larger animals.

Chlorine dioxide typical properties include: bactericide, viricide, fungicide, sporicide, disinfectant, sterilizer, and odour and taste removal.
Common microorganisms eliminated: Salmonellae, Staphylococci, Streptococci, Clostridia, Pseudomonades, Escherichia coli (E. coli), Legionella pneumophilia, Mycobacterium Bovis (Bovine TB, which can cross the species barrier to humans), Amoebae, Giardia and Cryptosporidia.
